Incident Update: Fiber Modem Restored — Core Router Repair Underway
Successful technician intervention in Smolyan: Damaged fiber modem is fully repaired and connected. Subsequent inspection revealed a secondary surge fault on the primary core router, currently being addressed.
Following the regional electrical outage in Smolyan, an upstream power surge caused hardware damage at our datacenter facility.
1. Fiber Modem Restored
The on-site technician deployment was completed successfully. The optical GPON modem has been fully repaired, tested, and re-established a stable connection with the provider network.
2. Subsequent Diagnosis: Core Router Fault
During the subsequent end-to-end verification of the routing topology, a secondary hardware fault was identified on the primary core router, also resulting from the electrical surge. External connectivity remains temporarily limited until router repairs conclude.
3. Current Status
- Modem: Repaired, tested, and active.
- Router: Defect isolated; active repair and testing underway.
